How to check PNR status?
To check the current status of your booking, enter your PNR number in the input box above. You'll find it in the upper left corner of the ticket. Then click the "Check PNR" button.
PNR check via Call
The service to check PNR status is also available via call. You can connect with the Indian Railways IVR by dialling 139 and following the options to check your PNR status right away.
PNR check via SMS
You can send your 10-digit PNR number via SMS on 139 or 5676747 and receive PNR status with other details instantly via a response SMS.
What is a PNR Number
A PNR (Passenger Name Record) number is a unique 10-digit code assigned to a travel booking that contains all the details of a passenger's journey.
Live Train Status
After boarding a train, you can easily track the live status of your train by clicking on "Live Train Status" here.
Note: Before boarding the train, please remember to check your final PNR status after chart preparation. You are only allowed to travel with a confirmed ticket.
